Patti Smith, Boarding House
$525.00
Location: San Francisco
Date: February 1976
Catalog No: PBPS03
She was only a few songs in to the show when Patti shed her leather jacket in favor of a simple white Rastafari t-shirt. Patti was all together different than any female singer I'd ever seen, moving with such raw intensity, blending high-energy garage rock with her beat-inspired poetry. This was an important inflection point in the US. Patti was one of the key performers re-invigorating rock and roll with Punk.
