GREGG ALLMAN

By '74, Gregg Allman had weathered a lot-- most prominently the loss of his brother. But Gregg didn't disappear into grief. He stepped forward, recording the Laid Back LP with the band, Cowboy. This night at the Shrine, Gregg was on fire. 50 years on, the negatives shot that night are still pristine, capturing epic moments of Gregg's performance.
