In October 1974, the Dead performed a sad but celebratory five-night "farewell" run at Winterland in San Francisco, Billed at the time as their last shows, the performances were filmed for what would become The Grateful Dead Movie. You can see a cinematographer's lens in this shot of Jerry Garcia. The filming enhanced the stage lighting during these shows. Great for photography!
